Via Dolorosa (Latin for “Way of Grief”) is a street in the Old City of Jerusalem. Traditionally, it is held to be the path that Jesus walked on the way to his crucifixion. It is marked by nine of the fourteen Stations of the Cross. The last five stations are inside the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.

i was blessed with the song of via dolorosa of sandi panti as well as the music and video of the pasion by mel gibson. i was crying while listening to that song. it was really a great song remembering the love of God to all mankind. Praise be to God. I thank God for loving me.

To Jerry: The Spanish verses in this song are the translations of the English verses in the song.
To anyone who is asking for chords and lyrics - have respect for the artists and buy it! There are sheet music websites where you can do this. Passing around that info for free is violating copyright protection and is the equivalent of stealing (look up the 10 commandments in your Bibles)…

In the Spanish verse, “Hesus” should be spelled Jesús and Senor should be Señor.

What an amazing song! This is what is called annointed writing, composing, singing….and the screenplay of Gibson is just simply astounding…Thankyou Sandi, Gibson, Bellucci & others…God Bless You…May it touch many a life…& may the destiny of many souls be changed for ever….Wasn’t that the passion which completely filled our Lord’s heart as he walked the ‘Via dolorosa’ in Jerusalem that day?!!!
